Proud parent Microsoft yesterday tweeted that, close to 1 million copies had been downloaded since the news came out that Windows 8 Beta is available for download for free.

Users curiously downloaded the Windows 8 Beta consumer preview to have the charisma of the much awaited look for Windows 8 and to see the capabilities of its features.
Windows has said, that this is just a sample with few features and the real version of Windows 8 will be more magnificent and will have better capabilities. In the demo version Windows has tried to highlight the benefits of Windows 8 on computing devices like tablet, smart phones and on PCs.
Company also has said, that the new OS will be poured with high user experience.
